The occupiers dismantled the Ukrainian drone and discovered that it was equipped with a SWD warhead for FPV kamikaze drones with an increased explosive effect.
The Russians filmed an inspection of a Ukrainian drone equipped with shrapnel. The video appeared in Russian public forums, as well as the Telegram channel “Bavovna”.
During the “unpacking” of the Ukrainian UAV, the occupiers noted that the vehicle is equipped with striking elements and is capable of hitting unarmored vehicles and light field structures.
“That’s the trick. Everything is clogged with shrapnel… Production is: FRAG 06-1480. Weighs 1.3 kg,” the Russians found out.
It is known that this type of drone is equipped with a SWD warhead for FPV kamikaze drones (field equipment kits).
The model uses a 1.3 kg ammunition type with increased high-explosive effect and penetrating effect of fragments.
This drone is used against unarmored equipment, premises, light field structures and open storage sites for BC.
Recall that Focus, citing the words of Colonel Denis Smazhny from the command of the Air Force of Ukraine, already wrote that the Russian Federation will not stop at its existing missile weapons. The enemy is constantly improving its ammunition.
The Russian troops are learning quickly. If earlier they launched cruise missiles at an altitude of about a kilometer, which allowed them to be detected faster and easier, now they launch missiles at low altitudes to make detection more difficult. In particular, they are massively using Shahed kamikaze drones.
It was previously reported that the Russian Su-57 may be equipped with the R-37M air-to-air missile, which is supposedly capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 300 km.
